| Abstract | Teachers are vital to the education system, primarily responsible for supporting students' learning and maintaining effective classroombut yet they are often burdened with administrative and government duties outsied the classroom at present time, one of the most sensitive and major nation duty is census duty, which requires substantial time for training , data collection, and documentation all over the country. The responsibilities may negatively impact on Teachers' workload, time management and their professional role. The conceptual review explore scholl teacher poerception of census duty, and its possible implications on teaching-learning Activites within the Tangla Town Cluster of Udalguri District,Assam.The paper is developed through a review of Academic Literature, Government Reports, and Policy Document on teachers' workload and role conflict,the discussion analysises how census duties affect teachers' lesson oplanning, classroom time management, assessment, student engagement, and teaching effectivenessIt concludes that factors like duty length, training and systematic support heavily influence teachers' attitudes, highlighting the urgent need for a more balanced between teachiung and government duties. |
